If you have a cracked floor in your tub, shower, whirlpool or hot tub, a bathtub floor overlayment is your permanent solution, no matter what color or shape. Bathtub floor overlayments offer a great solution to damaged tubs without the hassle and expense of tearing out or scrapping your old bathtub unit. All work is completed in one day with very little mess. A 24 hour cure time and your back in business.
We make a template of the floor then transfer the shape to one of our fiberglass panels, fabricate the panel, Â prep the floor and apply the new floor right over the old one using a strong and long lasting Polymer resin. We then feather in the edges to the existing floor radius, and a color matched Urethane top coat is applied to conceal your new bottom.
For additional structural support where needed a two part closed cell foam can be injected before the overlayment is done. Without an injection overlayments have a 300 pound rating. With the foam injection there is a 375 pound rating, which in most cases exceeds the original manufacturers’ recommendations.
